👋🏼 Hi all! Exciting news for #TheFamilyHealthcarePlaybook! I've been selected to join the Lovable Ambassador Program as the Caregiving Industry Lead in San Francisco. 🎉
♥️ As my mom's primary caregiver and a global tech communications executive turned author and founder, my goal -- my intention -- is simple: to raise awareness of and ignite a global conversation about the need for better support, resources, and infrastructure for caregivers. AND to equip other "accidental" caregivers like me with said tools and infrastructure to help make our caregiving journeys easier. It's not enough for me to just talk about it; I've gotta be about it. 💪🏼
✨First, a Caregiving Playbook; Now a Digital Platform Built with Lovable
I started with The Family Healthcare Playbook (analog, practical, tactile support), but that was only the beginning. Since The Playbook’s release a few months ago, I've spoken with hundreds of caregivers, healthcare professionals, families, other founders, and entrepreneurs, and there's much more work to do. Two themes have emerged:
Everyone's caregiving situation is different, and
Caregivers want someone to talk to for advice, preferably someone who's been through it. One question begets another begets another…. And so....
💙🧡 I knew tech could help, but I'm not about to throw another app or a random bot in the mix just for tech’s sake. So I sketched out (literally wrote, typed, and drew) what a helpful tool might look like; then I built it with Lovable. Yes. Me. I Built It. With Lovable!
